Hampton
& Richmond Borough 2 Thurrock 3
A rare poor defensive display from hampton produced
a rare defeat against an improving Thurrock side.
Elliott Godfrey got both of the hampton goals with
the second a terrific volley from the edge of the
box. This moved his Tally to 14 for the season 10
in the league. The other good news for the day was
that hampton recorded their largest attendence of
the season, 808 turned out with free tickets given
out to local youth teams. |
Wealdstone
0 Hampton & Richmond Borough 2
Hampton progressed into the 3rd round of this years
Middlesex Senior cup. The win at a rather cold Northwood
Park came courtesy of goals from Jack Jeffrey and
substitute Lawrence Yaku. Alan Devonshire gave Steve
Omonua and Kieran Drake their first appearances
of the season. |
Cambridge
City 1 Hampton & Richmond Borough 2
Hampton streched their unbeaten league run to 8
games. Goals came from an Alan Inns volley and a
driven Dean Wells free kick. Sandwiched in between
the visitors goals was a free kick from Cambridge's
Michael Gash.

Hampton
& Richmond Borough 2 Newport County 1
Hampton will play Blue Square Premier side Forest
Green in the 4th round of the Setanta Shield after
beating Newport. Jack Jeffrey scored his first goal
for the club on 34 minutes. The lead only lasted
6 minutes as James Simpson equalised for the visitors.
Just after the hour mark Shaun Mcauley scored his
4th goal in this years competition to put Hampton
through. |
Hampton
& Richmond Borough 5 Weston-Super-Mare 1
Hampton gave on loan Hammer, Jack Jeffrey, his Hampton
debut against Weston and was involved in the buildup
to several of the goals. After a 6th minute Elliott
Godfrey penalty, Graham Harper extened the lead after
being played in by the new loanee. A 5 minute spell
in the second half secured the game with goals from
Godfrey, Rob Paris and Alan Inns. |
Bishop's
Stortford 2 Hampton & Richmond Borough 1
Hampton left this years FA Trophy competition at
the hands of fellow Blue Square South side Bishop's
Stortford. A 13th minute goal from Shaun McAuley
was cancelled out by the host's in the 40th minute.The
winner came 5 minutes from time. |
Dorchester
Town 0 Hampton & Richmond Borough 1
Hampton heaped more pressure on Dorchester with a
second win in a week against the Dorset outfit. Lawrence
Yaku's 50th Hampton goal, came after 55 minutes to
give Hampton 3 points and extend an unbeaten league
run to 6 games. |

Hampton cruised through to the 3rd round of the Setanta
Shield after a comprehensive defeat of Dorchester.
Hampton got back to winning ways courtesy of a Shaun
McAuley hat trick and efforts from Alan Inns and Elliott
Godfrey. |

Hamptons FA cup run came to a close for another
year after a 3-0 defeat to the hands of Dagenham.
The game was even if not controlled by the beavers
for the first hour untill Dagenham scored against
the run of play and then hampton had to press forward
leaveing space for dagenham to score 2 more. Most
of the 2000 plus crowd would agree that Dagenham
were not 3 goals better than Hampton. |

& Waterlooville 0 Hampton & Richmond Borough

Hampton rested a few players for this fixture with
one eye on next weeks FA cup game. However this had
no consequences with Hampton coming out 3 nil victors
with goals from Lawrence Yaku, Shaun McAuley and Elliott
Godfrey. |
