2 goals apiece from Hodgey and Yaks saw off relegation threatened Worthing and in doing so ensured Hampton jumped to the top of the table. Early Hodgey goals on 19 & 32mins gave us a 2-0 h-t lead and despite Worthing pulling a goal back Yaks double in the 2nd half finished Worthing off - despite their late consolation.
A special free kick from Chris Macey got the Beavers a draw after being 1-0 down against an often feisty Spitfires side. The oppo had one of the best players we have come up against so the defence did well to hold firm and we took advantage of their self-destruct button when their argueing took over from the football.
Goals from Rob Paris and Ian Hodges helped Hampton overcome one of their promotion chasing rivals. AFC's cause was not helped by being reduced to 10men when their new signing from Hendon , Lee O'Leary, was sent off for a studs up tackle.
Goals from Jamie N, Lee D and Chris Macey saw Beavers get their 2nd ever IFA League win. Nice to exact revenge over the chaps from AFC who had beaten us by the same score in our first ever IFA game. Great performance all round.
Hampton were able to claim a valuable 3 points on a cold, cold, very cold Claremont Road night. A good first half performance against a much improved Hendon team saw the Beavers go ahead with a goal from Yaks. The 2nd half saw a lot of Hendon pressure but a goal from Francis Quarm sealed the win and saw Hampton jump to 3rd.
Hampton came from behind to claim all 3 points and keep up the pressure on those teams above. After Main opened the scoring for Angels , Elliott Godfrey kept his nerve from the penalty spot to equalise. Glen Harris (pic) put Beavers ahead before Yaks sealed the win at the end. Hampton stay 5th but closed the points gap.

Rob Paris put Hampton ahead in the 26th minute as Hampton had the best of the first period. However when Horsham equalised midway through the 2nd half it came as no surprise as Horsham played much stronger after the break. Both sides had glimpses of a winner but it wasn't to be. Hampton's point means a jump to 5th in the table.
A closely fought game between two promotion chasing sides. The game provided little in the way of excitement or clear cut chances as both teams cancelled each other out. Hampton had to play out the last quarter with 10men after Francis Quarm was given a red card. Hampton stay 6th.
| An extraordinary game of 4 penalties saw Beavers FC come away with their first ever League win in the IFA. Lee scored both our penalties whilst Farnborough scored one but saw the other saved by our Man of the Match Matt. However this was a great TEAM effort and was well deserved against a decent team. | Bromley got a winner 6 mins from time in this clash beween two promotion chasing teams in front of a crowd of nearly a thousand. Hampton started slowly and went 1-0 down but goals from Yaks and Hodgey saw us go ahead. bromley pulled back to 2-2 and the game could have gone either way till Bromley scored. Hampton drop to 6th. |
Despite going 1-0 up we contrived to lose this game. Click here for the match report.
